Clinical Research Fastrack

Clinical Research Fastrack graduates are making strides in the industry.

Justin Braithwaite zoomed into the CRF classroom, nervous about the future. Despite the apprehension he held in his heart, he dove into the program head first, immersing himself fully in the curriculum and tackling challenges head-on. Fast forward a year later, PharmaTimes magazine selected Justin as a finalist in the study start-up category. The most promising contestants were selected as finalists upon a review of essay submissions by panel industry experts.

Contestants in this category were tasked with writing a 1500-word essay describing strategies Clinical Researchers can utilize to promote and strengthen the diversity of patient populations participating in clinical trials. The PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year award is designed to put a spotlight on Clinical Researchers who have exceptional talent and a commitment to excellence in their work.

The competition has gained a notable reputation for being a valuable opportunity for Clinical Researchers who want to learn and grow in investigator sites and Pharma contract research organizations (CROs). The competition is an excellent opportunity for Clinical Research professionals with diverse skill sets to validate training and receive invaluable feedback on their performance.

After graduating from the Clinical Research Fastrack program in April 2021, Justin worked as a study startup associate in June, where he was assigned to three Phase II Oncology Clinical Trials. Justin was hired as a  Senior Startup Specialist in October of this year at Labcorp Drug Development. His job duties at Labcorp consist of working with multiple vendors, driving and coordinating activities across a range of stakeholders, and developing project-specific plans for the Site Activation component of assigned studies.

Our goal at Clinical Research Fastrack is to train the brightest and most dedicated professionals who will have a tremendous impact on the future of science and medicine by promoting and strengthening diversity in the field. Graduates can utilize their skills and the knowledge they’ve gained from the Clinical Research Fastrack program to discover rewarding career paths with unlimited growth opportunities.
