SCOTTSDALE, AZ (June 10, 2019) – Clinical Research Fastrack is pleased to announce its ongoing partnership with Unified Women’s Clinical Research (UWCR).
UWCR is a service arm of Unified Physicians Management, bringing together OB/GYN practices across the Southeastern United States. Their experienced clinical research professionals conduct trials for various treatments and therapies, including investigational medications, devices, gene therapy, and vaccines. UWCR’s investigators have successfully completed multiple pharmacokinetic and observational studies. To date, UWCR has collaborated with over 30,000 patients and enrolled approximately 7,000 participants in clinical trials. Notably, the Verifi prenatal test trial conducted by UWCR was published in the ACOG Green Journal with Verinata.
David Silberman, the CEO of Clinical Research Fastrack, expressed his enthusiasm for working with UWCR, stating, “The research staff from Unified Women’s Clinical Research are top-notch, and we are honored to be affiliated with them. They are incredible professionals and great mentors to our students. We feel fortunate to work closely with their manager, Keishia, and her team.”
Keishia Rodriguez, the Trial Operations Manager, shared her positive thoughts on the partnership, saying, “From the very beginning, the partnership has been wonderful. The quality of the students who have interned here was so great that our employees at all our sites wanted to hire them and get more interns.” She further emphasized the rewarding nature of sharing knowledge with individuals entering the clinical research industry.
Apart from sending students for internships at UWCR, Clinical Research Fastrack’s Executive Team had the opportunity to meet with the UWCR leadership team during this year’s annual ACRP Conference in Nashville. Both organizations agree that by working together, they can train better researchers and advance important studies in women’s health.
